The brief

A mobile hairstylist needed a first web presence that did two jobs: make the service feel premium rather than casual, and let clients book without back-and-forth messaging. There was no existing brand: logo, palette, and voice all started from zero.

Design decisions

Royal purple paired with muted gold positions the service as luxury without feeling corporate; the soft lavender and off-white keep it warm. Cormorant Garamond gives the headlines an editorial, salon-magazine feel, grounded by Jost for clean UI text.

The mark is a custom calligraphic C, treated as a symbol + wordmark lockup. Because the logo sits on both light pages and a dark nav, it ships as two SVG files (full-colour and white-with-gold) swapped by CSS rather than filtered.

Outcome

The design and build are complete, with the site ready to launch once final photography and copy come in from the client.
