The brief

A joiner whose best marketing is the furniture itself needed a site where the work does the selling. The goal: a gallery-led build that feels handmade and trustworthy, ending in a simple quote request rather than a hard sell.

Design decisions

The palette comes straight from the workshop: cream, espresso, saddle and amber wood tones with a gold accent, so photographs of timber pieces sit naturally in the layout. Adamina's bookish serif suits a craftsman's voice; Alata keeps navigation and UI plain and sturdy.

Outcome

The site went live in September 2026 at deanpaulsjoinery.homes, showcasing 25 years of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms with a category-filtered gallery of real projects. The reception says it best: sentiment has been warm across the board, and long-time clients tell Dean the site finally gives his work the presentation it deserves.
